This video will show you how to “softmod” your Nintendo Wii so you can play Wii game backups or downloaded Wii games. Please note if you do not follow this guide correctly it may damage your Wii. We are not responsible for anything that happens. Even if you do not have backup or downloaded Wii games to play I recommend still following this guide because it does a lot of good things for your WIi. Before you start… -make sure you have the Homebrew Wii Channel. If you do not watch this video: www.youtube.com -Make sure you have an SD card formatted to FAT 32 or FAT (2GB or less sd card if your wii is under 4.1, if you have 4.1 you can use any size sd card). -CHECK YOUR WII VERSION!!! You will need the following: Zelda Twilight Princess (Wii version), SD card, SD card reader, and a computer (Mac or PC) This tutorial only works if you have Wii firmware 3.4 or less. If you have 4.0 or 4.0U, fret not – I just installed it on my friend’s using Bannerbomb (google it). If you are using Bannerbomb, you DO NOT need Zelda Twilight or the Zelda hack. Step 1 – Play Zelda at least once and create a save file in the game. As a Guideline: games i own include: God of War, 2 Dragonquest games, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Pokemon Pearl.
