If this hacker has ever sent you a program or a file you executed on your computer, then he may have infected your computer with a specific kind of virus that records what you do on your computer and allow him to take over your machine. We call these types of virii: Trojan horses.

If you are not up to the challenge, I siggest you take your computer to your local geek to have a look at it to make sure it’s clean. Then update all your software (windows update) and make sure you are running the latest version of YM.

When those things are in order, I’d get a good firewall and antivirus and dare him to try it.

But that’s just me.

First of all, if you are not a “hacker” then you have no business in a hackers chatroom. Hackers have no business in a yahoo hacker chatroom to be perfectly honest with you.

The bottom line is if you do not have proper security suite on your computer that is properly configured and automatically updating then you deserve to be attacked.

As for recording a video of you while chatting… absolutely insanity. First of all, who would even care to video you?
Second of all, if you have a web cam up and running when you are not using it and you do not have proper security in place then anyone can do whatever they want with your camera… and if you don’t have a camera noone can video anything.

As for entering your account… again, whatever account you are talking about… if it is properly secured with a proper password and you are not allowing people access to it via stupidity then you would not need to ask the question.

I would suggest you stay out of chatrooms that talk about things you have no business eavesdropping on and mind your own business… like the business of securing your computer and educating yourself in saner ways.
